Abu Dhabi Corniche promenade
The city`s landmark 8 km waterfront promenade, with a wide pedestrian and cycle path running along the Arabian Gulf. Leashed dogs are tolerated on the promenade pavement and roadside walk, but not on the supervised Corniche swimming beach, where dogs are not allowed by law. The best central option for a flat, paved leashed walk.
Off-leash zone: Dogs must be leashed at all times; not allowed on the Corniche beach itself.
💡 Walk at dawn or after dark in summer; the shaded sections are limited and midday heat burns paws.
