Nantes' favourite dog park has an official off-leash caniparc zone and sweeping lawns where dogs run freely in designated areas. Shaded alleys and a rose garden make it the ideal walk before or after exploring the city centre.

The outdoor esplanade of the famous giant machines, including the 12-metre Grand Éléphant, is fully accessible to dogs on leash. Dogs cannot ride the Éléphant, but watching its promenades from the quayside with your dog is an unforgettable experience.

The moat gardens and rampart walk of this 15th-century fortress are free to access and dog-friendly on leash. The museum inside does not accept dogs, but the exterior grounds alone offer a very rewarding visit with panoramic city views.

A Japanese garden on an Erdre River island in the heart of Nantes, with wooden bridges, red pavilions, and koi ponds. Dogs are welcome on leash on the winding footpaths, one of the most photogenic spots in the city.
