Founded 1772, one of Europe's oldest university botanical gardens. Terraced grounds, rare trees, bamboo grove. Leashed dogs welcome in the outdoor areas (not in the greenhouses).

14th-century historic gardens linked to the Pedro and Inês de Castro legend, the 'Fountain of Loves' and 'Fountain of Tears' are accessible to visitors and leashed dogs.
