Parc de Sainte-Radegonde
Sainte-Radegonde, north of the Loire · Quai de Portillon, 37100 Tours
Tours' largest urban park, 14 hectares of wooded areas, lawns, picnic tables and a children's play area, with the city's first official aire d'ébats canins (fenced off-leash dog area) inaugurated on 3 October 2021. There is even a 1+ hectare enclosure with llamas near the tennis club. Leashed dogs welcome throughout the wider park.
💡 Cross the Pont Wilson from the Vieux-Tours and walk along the Loire-side path to reach the park in 20 minutes — most pleasant route, fully dog-friendly, and avoids the tram route which adds complexity with a dog.
