HTM Tram & Bus Network
Citywide · City-wide; main hub at Den Haag Centraal
HTM operates the dense tram and bus grid that links Centrum, Scheveningen, Kijkduin, and the Statenkwartier. Small pets in a carrier travel free; medium and large dogs are accepted on a leash and must be seated in the aisle, with no separate ticket required. Trams 1, 9, and 11 are the most useful for visitors with dogs (centre to beach and back).

💡 Avoid the rush-hour windows of 07:30–09:00 and 16:30–18:30 with a large dog — trams get very full and there is no aisle space.
