The natural beach on the Pirita River, accessible along the riverside fitness trail, is the most consistently dog-friendly swimming spot near Tallinn. Dogs can enter the water year-round here, unlike the main Pirita sea beach which has summer restrictions. The trail runs through shaded riverside scenery, making it a pleasant walk in all seasons. Combine with a visit to the Pirita promenade and the ruined Pirita Convent.
