Dog-Friendly Beaches near Sóller

Platja d'En Repic is the sandier of the two beaches that line the natural horseshoe bay of Port de Sóller, at the southern end opposite the lighthouse of Sa Creu. Dogs are prohibited during the bathing season (April 1 to October 31) per the Ajuntament ordinance, but in winter the beach is empty, the Tramuntana light is extraordinary, and leashed dogs can run on the wet sand without issue. The promenade behind the beach is dog-friendly year-round.

Cala Tuent is a secluded pebble cove west of Sóller, reached by a long winding mountain road that keeps the crowds away. It sits at the foot of the Puig Major massif, the highest peak in Mallorca, and faces a small fishermen's chapel. The beach is not officially designated as dog-friendly, but its remote status and almost complete lack of summer enforcement make it the closest thing to a year-round leashed dog beach in the Tramuntana. Always behave discreetly and pick up after your dog.

Sa Calobra is the most dramatic landscape in Mallorca, a narrow gorge of the Torrent de Pareis canyon that opens onto a pebble beach between vertical cliffs 200 m high. From Port de Sóller the easiest access is by the Pinos boat operator (1h scenic crossing), which accepts dogs onboard. The land road is famously winding and stressful. Once at Sa Calobra, dogs on a leash can walk the tunnel to the gorge mouth and along the pebbles. Outside summer the place is hauntingly quiet.
