Plaça d'Espanya & Església Sant Bartomeu
Town centre · Plaça d'Espanya, 07100 Sóller
Plaça d'Espanya is the social heart of Sóller, an irregular Modernist square flanked by the Església Sant Bartomeu (its façade restored 1904 in a Gaudí-influenced style by Joan Rubió i Bellver) and the equally Modernist Banc de Sóller. The vintage tram and the wooden train stations both open onto the square, which means a constant theatre of arrivals, departures, café terraces, and locals walking dogs. Dogs on a leash are welcome throughout the square and on every surrounding terrace.
💡 Sunday morning is when the Pla des Mercat fills with the weekly market, the square is lively from 09:00 and dogs are part of the crowd
