Osteria Le Logge
Terzo di San Martino / 50 m from Piazza del Campo ยท Via del Porrione 33, 53100 Siena
A historic Sienese osteria 50 m from Piazza del Campo, opened 1880 in a former pharmacy with the original wooden cabinets still lining the walls, run today by the Stefani family on the Chianti estate of Castello di Ama. Pici al ragu di Chianina, ribollita and Sienese pork specialities. Leashed dogs welcome on the small Via del Porrione pavement extension and the inside ground-floor room year-round; the upstairs Sala dei Vini admits only assistance dogs.
๐ก Book the Via del Porrione pavement at 20:00 in summer; the lane is pedestrian and pet-quiet, the limestone walls still hold the Tuscan day's warmth, your dog rests on cool flagstone and the back terrace of the Piazza del Campo is 50 m west when the Torre del Mangia lights up at dusk.
