There is no formal town park in a village this small, but Saturnia sits in genuine open Maremma countryside, and the walking here is some of the best in Tuscany for a dog: rolling farmland, oak woods, and the Etruscan sunken roads (Vie Cave) that link the tufo towns nearby. Leash rules apply on all public paths, and summer heat and cattle in the surrounding pastures are the two things to plan around.
A short, flat loop tracing the outside of Saturnia's old town walls, past the Roman-era Porta Romana gate and the Rocca Aldobrandesca fortress, with open views over the Maremma hills. It is quiet, on-lead, and an easy first or last walk of the day for a dog that has spent the morning at the springs.
