Dog Parks & Walks in Paphos

A renovated, step-free coastal path running roughly from the Medieval Castle and harbour north past Tombs of the Kings, allowing several kilometres of flat, scenic walking away from the main road. It is the single best dog walk in the city, with sea breezes that make early mornings and evenings pleasant even in high summer.

A shaded green space in the heart of the Old Town (Ktima), with mature trees and paths that offer welcome relief from the sun. It is a convenient, leashed walking spot between Old Town tavernas and a good place to rest in the shade during the hotter part of the day.

A dramatic 1.2 km gorge trail in the Pegeia state forest northwest of the city, following the Avgas river through towering rock walls that provide natural shade. Leashed dogs are a common sight here, and the shade and occasional water make it a far cooler summer option than open coastal walks.
