Dog-Friendly Beaches in Opatija

The main designated dog beach of the Riviera, on the shore between Opatija centre and Ičići and easy to reach along the Lungomare. It is fenced off from the promenade by a gate, screened from neighbouring beaches by natural barriers, and equipped with a freshwater dog shower and bins. There is plenty of natural shade, so your dog can cool off and swim in the clear Adriatic without breaking any rules.

A small, natural rocky dog beach at Gornja Ika on the way to Lovran, with no built infrastructure but clean, calm water and a quieter feel than the town beaches.
