Best Dog Parks in Lille

Lille's flagship 110-hectare green space, wrapped around the 17th-century Vauban Citadelle. Mature plane trees, the Esplanade rose garden, an ornamental lake, and a small zoo at the western end. Dogs on leash are welcome on every path; off-leash is technically prohibited but widely tolerated on the inner woodland tracks early morning. Free parking at the Vauban entrance.

A 110-hectare regional nature reserve 10 km east of Lille, dominated by a 35-hectare lake and surrounding wetland reed beds. The park is part of the Lille Métropole urban forest network and connects via the LAM tram (line 1, station Hôtel de Ville) directly from the city centre. Dogs on leash are welcome on the entire 6 km circular path; off-leash is permitted on the eastern meadows.
