Jurmala's main green space is Dzintari Forest Park, a protected pine grove with 200-year-old trees that backs the central section of the beach and stays open year-round from 9 am to 10 pm. Leashed dogs are welcome on every path, the surfaced loops are stroller and senior-dog friendly, and a viewing tower offers Baltic horizon views above the canopy. Beyond Dzintari Forest the city has no formal fenced off-leash zone, but the wide sand paths between the dune-facing villas allow comfortable leashed walking from Lielupe in the east to Kemeri in the west, a total of 33 km of coast.
