Istanbul's dog-friendly restaurant scene is concentrated in the European cosmopolitan neighbourhoods: Kadikoy on the Asian side, Beyoglu and Cihangir on the European side, and the Bosphorus waterfront villages of Bebek and Arnavutkoy. Bebek is Istanbul's most affluent Bosphorus village, with a long waterfront promenade and a string of outdoor cafés facing the Asian shore and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. Dogs are a fixture on the promenade; waterfront café terraces all accept dogs. The Bebek Park at the north end of the promenade has benches and is always busy with residents walking dogs.
