Grote Markt & Grote Sint-Bavokerk exterior
Centrum ยท Grote Markt, 2011 RD Haarlem
The cobbled Grote Markt is the historic heart of Haarlem, dominated by the Late-Gothic Grote Sint-Bavokerk (the cathedral where Frans Hals is buried and where Mozart played the Mรผller organ as a 10-year-old in 1766). The cathedral interior admits only assistance dogs, but leashed dogs can roam the entire market square, sit at any of the eight terrace cafรฉs, and circle the cathedral's exterior buttresses at the Klokhuisplein.
๐ก Walk the Klokhuisplein side at sunset, the angle catches the cathedral apse with golden light, no scaffolding in frame, and the dog gets the Frans Hals statue photo too.
