Dog-Friendly Attractions in Girona

The complete 2 km patrol walk along Girona's Carolingian and medieval walls, with towers climbing to views over the cathedral, the Ter plain and the Pyrenees on clear days. Free, open at all hours and fully walkable with a leashed dog; the stone parapets shade sections of the path in the morning.

The Call, Girona's medieval Jewish quarter around Carrer de la Forca, is a cool maze of stone stairways and hidden courtyards that leashed dogs explore freely; it flows into the cathedral square, whose 90-step baroque staircase doubled as King's Landing in Game of Thrones season six. Cathedral and museum interiors are off-limits to dogs; everything else is street theatre.
