Long-standing family practice on the Brugsesteenweg west of the centre, run by Dr Jan and Dr Tom Vandenbussche. General medicine, surgery, dentistry, vaccinations, EU pet passport issuance. Convenient for dog owners staying near the Citadelpark or the western canals.

Day-time practice on Sint-Denijslaan, south of Gent-Sint-Pieters station, run by Dr Matthias Pyckavet (Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology from the University of Liverpool). Dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, birds and reptiles, with a dermatology specialism. After-hours cases divert to Vet Emergency Gent.
