Pet-Friendly Attractions in Gandía

The Ducal Palace of the Borja family is Gandía's signature monument, more than 500 years of history with the lavish Galería Dorada and Salón de Coronas inside. Pets cannot enter the palace itself, but the atmospheric old-town streets and squares around it are made for a leashed stroll, with shaded benches and cafés to pause at.

Gandía's lively marina, one of the larger sports ports on the Valencian coast, is a pleasant open-air spot for a leashed walk among the boats and waterfront. The quaysides and nearby Grau streets have seafood and rice restaurants with terraces, making it an easy place to combine a stroll with a meal alongside your dog.

The roughly 3 km seafront promenade running the length of Playa de Gandía is the town's best dog walk and stays open to leashed dogs all year, even when the beach sand itself is closed in summer. Wide, flat and lined with palms, cafés and sea views, it is the spine of a dog-friendly day at the beach resort.
