A rooftop institution in Essaouira since 1993: an arty café-restaurant on the main square with an open terrace that has become the social hub for Essaouira's expat and creative community. Dogs are a regular sight on the terrace here. The menu covers Moroccan-fusion, cocktails, and live music in the evenings (Gnawa music festivals draw international crowds). The terrace overlooks the animated Place Moulay Hassan and the white-blue medina.
