Dog-Friendly Restaurants in Cluj-Napoca

One of Cluj's most celebrated restaurants, set in a Steampunk-inspired space in a historic villa with a large terrace garden fully open to dogs. The menu is modern Romanian with European influences: slow-roasted meats, seasonal vegetables, and excellent local wines. The terrace is partially covered, making it usable in light rain, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it a favourite with dog owners. A genuine Cluj institution.

A beloved Cluj literary cafe in the historic centre with a shaded inner courtyard (curte) that has become one of the city's most dog-friendly spots. Named after the Russian author, the cafe serves excellent coffee, light food, and occasional live jazz. The courtyard is off the main street, shaded by mature trees, and has an intimate neighbourhood feel completely at odds with its central location. Dogs are as regular as the students who make it their office.
