Getting Around Chamonix with a Dog

The Chamonix valley is one of the easiest Alpine resorts to navigate with a dog: leashed dogs ride the valley buses and the Mulet shuttle, board the Mont-Blanc Express train for half fare, and are accepted on almost every lift and cog railway. The two exceptions to memorise are the Aiguille du Midi cable car and the Index chairlift above La Flégère.
