Dog-Friendly Beaches in Cascais, Where & When You Can Bring Your Dog

Small, sheltered cove tucked under the cliffs between the marina and Largo Luís de Camões, one of the few central beaches officially listed as non-concessioned and therefore dog-tolerant year-round on the dry sand outside any posted restriction.

Vast Atlantic surf beach inside the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, ringed by dunes and famous for its wind. Concessioned sections close to the kiosks ban dogs in season; the wider unsupervised stretches at either end remain pet-tolerant year-round.

Quieter northern neighbour of Guincho with a wooden boardwalk through the protected dune system. Non-concessioned, less surf, more wind shelter and the most reliable Cascais-area beach for taking a dog onto the sand any time of year.
