Dog Parks & Walks in Budva

A short, spectacular cliffside path running west from the Old Town past the iconic Ballerina (dancer) statue to the twin coves of Mogren I and Mogren II. The walk takes about ten minutes each way and offers some of the best sea views in Budva. Keep dogs leashed; the path is narrow with steep drops to the rocks below.

The long, flat palm-lined promenade running behind Budva's main Slovenska beach strip is the easiest dog walk in town. It links the Old Town to the marina and the beach bars, with plenty of cafés to stop at along the way. Early and late in the day it is calm; in peak summer afternoons it is crowded, so keep your dog close.

The narrow stone lanes of Budva's walled Old Town are a pleasant, mostly shaded leashed stroll outside the busiest hours. Dogs are a common sight here and the town's resident cats and dogs are well tolerated. The seaward ramparts give cooling breezes, though the polished stone underfoot heats up under direct midday sun.
