Dog-Friendly Attractions in Budva

Budva's compact medieval walled town is a maze of stone lanes, small squares and churches jutting into the Adriatic. It is freely walkable with a leashed dog, and the resident cats and dogs make pets a natural part of the scene. The seaward ramparts offer breezy walks with sweeping sea views.

The short clifftop walkway from the Old Town to Mogren beach passes the iconic Ballerina (dancer) statue perched above the sea, one of Budva's most photographed spots. It is a free, open-air walk that dogs can do on a leash. The views back over the Old Town and the bay are superb.

The postcard view of the tiny fortified island-resort of Sveti Stefan, linked to the mainland by a slender causeway, is one of the Adriatic's most famous scenes. The roadside viewpoint above it is open-air and free, perfect for a leashed dog and a photo. The island resort itself is private, but the panorama is the real draw.
