Best Dog Parks in Brighton

A 1.2 km strip of seafront grass running from the Angel of Peace statue to Fourth Avenue, the most popular off-leash space in the city. Dogs roam free on the lawns themselves — a leash is only required on the adjacent paved promenade. The beach immediately south of the café is also dog-friendly all year, making this the most reliable combined walk in Brighton.

The largest urban park in Brighton at 26 hectares, with broad lawns, mature trees and the historic Rockery garden across London Road. Dogs are allowed off-leash on most of the open grass, with some restrictions around the bowling greens, tennis courts, and play area. The Rotunda Café provides water bowls and outdoor tables for dogs.

A 200-hectare country estate on the edge of the South Downs National Park, with woodland, open fields and the Stanmer village. Dogs are welcome throughout, off-leash in most of the park, but a leash is required around the working farm and grazing livestock zones, which are clearly signposted.
