Pet-Friendly Restaurants in Braga

A celebrated bookshop-café set in an 18th-century palacete with an enclosed garden, one of Braga's most beloved gathering spots. The garden tables under the trees are dog-welcoming, locals routinely arrive with their dogs for brunch or afternoon tea. The menu is light: salads, quiches, sandwiches, regional pastries and a strong list of Vinho Verde and Portuguese wines by the glass.

A Braga institution since 1796, famous for its eponymous frigideiras (small puff-pastry pies filled with veal) and bola de carne.
