Pet-Friendly Attractions in Belgrade

The 60-hectare fortress complex on the headland where the Sava meets the Danube — Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and Habsburg walls layered into one site. Dogs on leash are welcome on all open walls and the surrounding park, including the famous sunset viewpoint above the rivers. The military museum and the indoor exhibitions admit only assistance dogs.

Belgrade's bohemian quarter — a single 400-metre cobbled street lined with traditional Serbian taverns (kafane), live music, and 19th-century townhouses. Dogs on leash are welcome the entire length, and most kafane terraces accept pets without question. The street is pedestrianised in the evening and is the city's classic dinner-with-a-dog destination.
