Public Transport with a Pet in Aix-en-Provence

The 40-line Aix en Bus network covers all city districts plus the surrounding communes of Éguilles, Venelles, Le Tholonet and Saint-Marc-Jaumegarde. Small dogs travel free in a closed basket or carrier; medium/large dogs must be muzzled and on a short lead at the driver's discretion.

The TGV station is 16 km south of the city centre (shuttle bus connection from gare routière), with direct TGVs to Paris (3 h), Lyon (1 h 30) and Lille (4 h). On TGV and Intercités, small dogs under 6 kg in a closed carrier travel for €7; medium/large dogs travel on a lead with a muzzle for €7.
