💡 Quick Tips

• 1.Paradise Valley (Immouzer des Ida Outanane, 50 km north, 1h drive): a narrow palm canyon in the Anti-Atlas foothills with natural pools and waterfalls. Dogs swim freely in the crystal-clear pools. Best visited April-October; the waterfalls are seasonal (spring snowmelt). A spectacular half-day excursion from Agadir.
• 2.Taroudant (85 km east, 1h drive): a pink-walled Berber city in the Souss plain surrounded by orange groves and almond trees. Dogs walk on-leash through the medina (much less conservative than Marrakech) and through the vast palm groves outside the walls. An excellent Agadir day trip for dog travellers.
• 3.The Anti-Atlas mountains southeast of Agadir (Tafraout valley, 150 km, 2h drive) have spectacular pink granite landscapes, argan forest, and mountain trails completely off-leash.
