A wooden boardwalk and gravel trail climbs the 52-metre Parnidis Dune at the south end of Nida, topped by a granite sundial (1995, rebuilt after a 1999 storm) with 360-degree views over the Baltic, the lagoon and Russian Kaliningrad to the south. Roughly 1.5 km return, easy gradient on the boardwalk, leashed dogs welcome throughout.
💡 Walk it just before sunset for the long shadows across the dunes and the orange light on the sundial; carry water as there is no shade or tap.
