Hondvriendelijke attracties in Colmar

The postcard quarter of Colmar, where flower-decked half-timbered houses line the Lauch canal. The traditional flat-bottomed Sweet Narcisse boats depart from Pont Saint-Pierre for a 30-minute narrated cruise, and dogs are allowed on board.

A 35-minute narrated tour of the old town aboard the little white train, with headphones in 16 languages, departing opposite the Unterlinden Museum. Dogs can ride along, a paw-saving way to cover the whole historic centre.

Colmar is the capital of the Alsace wine route, with Eguisheim, Riquewihr and Kaysersberg all within 15 km. The villages are open-air, cobbled and walkable with a leashed dog, and vineyard paths link them through the vines; many tasting cellars accept calm dogs if you ask first.
