Walking is the best way around central Budva

For most visitors the entire trip can be done on foot with a dog. The Old Town, Slovenska beach, the marina and the Mogren path are all within fifteen minutes of each other along flat, paved seafront. This avoids the uncertainty of bus pet policies altogether. If you base yourself in Budva centre or Becici and only day-trip to Kotor or Sveti Stefan, a pre-booked pet-friendly taxi or hire car is far more reliable than the intercity bus. In high summer, plan walks for the cooler hours and stick to shaded lanes and the breezy seafront rather than open asphalt.
