Zurich's medieval old town is one of the finest in Central Europe: cobbled streets, guild houses, twin towers of the Grossmünster and Fraumünster churches, and the Limmat river running through the middle. Dogs on a leash can walk everywhere in the old town. The narrow alleys of Niederdorf on the east bank and the broader streets of the Lindenhügel on the west bank are equally accessible. One of the most pleasant dog-walks in any European city.
