Parks & Walks for Dogs in Zell am See

The manicured lakeside park at the start of the esplanade, with flowerbeds, old trees and front-row views over the Zeller See to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Perfect for the morning leash walk before the boats start running.

The town's official off-leash dog zone, right beside the Zeller See nature reserve, where dogs can finally run free of the leash-or-muzzle rule. A lovely walking trail runs along the reserve edge next to it.

The classic flat circuit of the Zeller See through Thumersbach and the reed belts of the nature reserve, walkable in about three hours with plenty of shoreline sniffing. Shorten it by hopping on a lake boat or the bus back from any village.
