Dog-Friendly Attractions in Zell am See

Zell am See's 2,000 m home mountain, famous for a summit panorama of more than thirty 3,000 m peaks above the turquoise lake. Dogs ride up with their own ticket (muzzle and leash in the cabin) and walk the summit trails on the lead.

A 32 m deep glacial gorge with wooden walkways hanging over the roaring Kapruner Ache, open roughly May to October, and leashed dogs walk the whole boardwalk. At the top it opens onto the Klammsee loop and a spacious dog park.

Salzburg's glacier mountain lifts dogs to the 3,029 m TOP OF SALZBURG platform with their own daily or weekly dog tickets, muzzled and leashed in the gondolas. Dogs are welcome in the mountain restaurants but banned from the ski pistes.
