Dog Beaches near Yokohama

Content coming soon. Yokohama is a major working port on Tokyo Bay rather than a swimming resort, so the city itself has no bathing beach; its waterfront is harbour piers, promenades and parks. For a real dog-on-sand day, owners head about an hour south to the Shonan coast around Zushi and Kamakura, where some beaches allow leashed dogs outside the peak summer bathing season under local rules that change each year, so always check the current signage before letting a dog onto the sand.
