Trentino Trasporti runs the city buses, the Trento-Malè railway and the Sardagna cable car under one set of animal rules: small dogs carried in your arms or in a carrier travel free, larger dogs pay a 1.20 euro ticket, and a muzzle plus a leash of no more than 1.5 metres are compulsory. Carry your dog's EU pet passport on trains.
