Trento has run an official network of fenced dog areas in its public parks since 1997, with bag dispensers and drinking fountains. The city's open-data portal and the local Lega del Cane both publish the full list.
A 14,000 square metre neighbourhood garden south of the centre, reachable from Via Marsala, Via Palermo and Viale Verona. Its fenced dog area has its own drinking fountain and sits close to the Animal Care veterinary clinic.
A 110,000 square metre park in the north of the city with wide lawns and five drinking fountains spread across the grounds. The fenced dog enclosure gives plenty of run space away from the play areas.
