Torun's public transport (MZK Torun) is one of the easiest in Poland for travellers with a dog. Trams and buses both accept dogs on leash, with small dogs in a closed carrier travelling free and breeds classified as aggressive required to wear a muzzle. The Old Town is small, flat, and so compact that you can cross it on foot in fifteen minutes, so transport tends to be needed only to reach the train station, the forest at Bielany, or the airport at Bydgoszcz. The closest airport with international flights is Bydgoszcz Ignacy Jan Paderewski (BZG), 45 km west; PKP Intercity trains link Torun to Warsaw, Gdansk, and Poznan and accept dogs at half-fare.

| Bike and cargo bike | Torun has around 100 km of bike lanes and a flat profile making cycling easy. The TRM city bike share does not allow dogs, but private cargo bikes and trailers are common along the Vistula bulwar and on the Bielany forest cycle path. | ๐ก |
