Below the Bulwar Filadelfijski, narrow gravel and grass banks line the Vistula at the foot of the medieval walls. The view back at the brick Gothic spires of the Old Town is the classic Torun postcard. Dogs on leash are welcome year-round, and the small shallow bays at low water let confident swimmers paddle, though the main current is strong and not safe for any swimmer. No facilities beyond the bulwar above, but the central Old Town is two minutes up the slope.
