For a town of 35 000 people, Sopot is extraordinarily well equipped: the city lists twelve official off-leash dog runs (wybiegi dla psow), from the Blonia Sopockie agility run to a fenced lot in the seafront Park Polnocny behind the Koliba club. Behind the town, the forested ridge of the Tri-City Landscape Park (Trojmiejski Park Krajobrazowy) starts within 15 minutes' walk of the pier, with leashed trails past the Lesna Opera amphitheatre and up Lysa Gora hill. Polish law requires a leash in public spaces; off-leash is legal only inside the marked runs.
Sopot's flagship dog run on the Blonia Sopockie recreation grounds, free, open around the clock and fitted with an agility course: jumps, slalom posts and a ramp. Five minutes' walk from the southern beach entrances, so you can combine it with an evening beach run.

Sopot's seafront park stretches north from the pier between the beach and the grand spa-era villas, with shaded alleys, ponds and a fenced dog run behind the Koliba club. The Tri-City Landscape Park is a 200 km2 beech-and-pine forest ridge rising directly behind Sopot, reached in 15 minutes on foot from the town centre. Marked trails climb past the Lesna Opera amphitheatre, the Lysa Gora viewpoint and the old earthwork stronghold at Grodzisko; dogs must stay leashed as in all Polish forests with wildlife.
