Dog-Friendly Attractions in Sopot

Europe's longest wooden pier stretches 512 m into the Gdansk Bay, with the whole Tricity coastline unrolling on either side. Leashed dogs walk it free of charge; humans pay 10 PLN in the ticketed season from April to September, and aggressive breeds must add a muzzle.

Sopot's pedestrian spine runs from the SKM station down to the pier, past the surreal Crooked House (Krzywy Domek), street performers and a solid third of the town's dog-friendly terraces. It is the classic evening passeggiata of the Polish coast, best done with a short leash in high season.

The century-old Forest Opera, a 4 400-seat amphitheatre with famous acoustics, sits in a wooded valley of the Tri-City Landscape Park; the forest trails around it and up neighbouring Lysa Gora (Sopot's 110 m high point, with a sea-view ski slope in winter) make a superb leashed hill walk. Dogs walk the surrounding trails year-round but are not admitted to ticketed performances.
