Pet-Friendly Attractions in Sibenik

Sibenik's two most visited fortresses crown the old town with panoramic Adriatic views, a clifftop summer concert stage at St Michael's and an augmented-reality multimedia experience at the star-shaped Barone. Both are officially pet-friendly with dogs allowed on a leash, the only exception being the Bistro Barone cafe area.

Sibenik's medieval core is a maze of steep stone stairways, hidden squares and the cathedral plaza, opening onto the lively Riva promenade along the harbour. Dogs are welcome on a leash throughout these public outdoor spaces, and the golden-hour light on the stone is the best time to walk.

The region's headline natural attraction, Krka is a river park of dramatic waterfalls and wooden boardwalk trails about 15 km from Sibenik. Dogs are allowed on a leash throughout the trails, though not on Visovac Island, not in the monastery and not swimming in the rivers or falls.
