Top Dog-Friendly Attractions in Setúbal

The 16th-century star-shaped fort on the hill above Setúbal commissioned by King Philip II of Spain, with its azulejo-tiled chapel and ramparts panorama spanning the Sado estuary, the Arrábida cliffs and the Tróia peninsula. The outer ramparts and courtyard are dog-friendly year-round; only the chapel interior is closed to non-assistance dogs.

The 1490s Igreja de Jesus is one of the earliest Manueline-style churches in Portugal, with twisted columns built from Arrábida limestone-marble.
