Sharpitor
A subtropical National Trust garden perched on the cliff at Sharpitor with breathtaking views over the estuary mouth, planted with palms, exotics and rare shrubs that thrive in the mild air. It is a magical, sheltered place to wander with a well-behaved dog.
🐾 Dogs on a short (non-flexi) lead are welcome in the garden; a lead-swap is offered at the entrance. Dogs are not allowed in the Banana Garden or on grassed areas except the Olive Garden mown paths, and are welcome at the outdoor cafe kiosk.🎟️ Adult around £9.50; free to National Trust members
💡 The garden is steep and terraced with lots of steps; wear good shoes and bring water, then reward the dog at the cafe kiosk.
