Dog-Friendly Beaches in Rovinj

An officially designated dog beach (plaža za pse) inside Lone Bay on the northern edge of the Punta Corrente forest park, signposted by the Tourist Board Rovinj. Pebble and flat-rock entry, pine shade above, with water bowls and bag dispensers in season. The most accessible Rovinj city dog beach, 15 min walk south of the Stari Grad along the coastal path.

A pine-fringed pebble and rocky shore in the Monsena area north of the Stari Grad with an officially designated dog section signposted by Tourist Board Rovinj. Shallow entry, shaded sections through the pines, and dog-only steps into the water in places. Easy to reach by the coastal path or a 5 min drive from the Old Town.

A small pebble and flat-slab cove on the southern flank of the Punta Corrente forest park, the wildest of the Rovinj dog beaches with no facilities and minimal crowds. Some sections are reportedly off-leash year-round, but verify the current signage with Tourist Board Rovinj on arrival. Steep pine slope behind, clear shallow water, and the smallest summer crowd of any Rovinj beach.
