Rodini Park
One of the oldest landscaped parks in the world, Rodini lies about 3 km south of the Old Town on the Lindos road, a shaded ravine of streams, stone bridges, ponds and dense vegetation. The leafy canopy keeps it noticeably cooler than the town in summer, making it one of the few comfortable midday walks, though dogs should be kept on-leash given the resident free-roaming peacocks, ducks and cats.
Off-leash zone: On-leash only. Free-roaming peacocks, ducks and cats throughout
๐ก This is the best heat refuge in the area. The shade and running water keep it cool when the rest of town is baking
