Dog-Friendly Beaches in Pula

A pebble and concrete bathing platform around the Stoja peninsula campsite, with a long Lungomare path connecting back to Valkane and the Old Town seafront. Off-season (15 Sep-15 May) leashed dogs are welcome along the entire shore; in summer the dog section is signposted on the northern flank of the peninsula away from the main sunbed concessions. Shaded by pines, with the Stoja campsite kiosks nearby for water and waste bins.

The Cape Kamenjak nature park signposts several coves where dogs are welcome year-round, including off-leash sections on the wilder southern coast. Bays like Uvala Polje and Mala Kolombarica offer flat-rock entry, shallow turquoise water and shaded pine sections behind. The park`s ranger station distributes a free dog-friendly map on entry showing the current designated coves; verify Premantura Tourist Board rules on arrival as the boundaries are reviewed annually.

A pebble Blue Flag beach on the north flank of the Verudela peninsula with a small designated dog section signposted at the east end, set under pines and reached by a short walk from the Verudela hotels car park. Calm shallow water suits older or nervous dogs, and the pine shade carries through most of the afternoon. Off-season the entire beach is open to dogs on lead.
