Poznan's public transport network (ZTM Poznan, operated by MPK) is one of the easiest in Europe for travellers with dogs. Trams and buses both accept dogs with a single ticket purchased at the standard fare, with small dogs in a carrier travelling free. The basic rules are practical: a leash and a muzzle for any dog larger than a small carrier, plus the rabies vaccination booklet on hand if a controller asks. The city is flat, compact, and exceptionally cyclable, with a good network of separated bike lanes that make a cargo-bike or trailer setup the most agreeable way to get around with a medium-to-large dog. Long-distance trains operated by PKP Intercity also accept dogs (small dogs in carrier free, larger dogs at half-fare).

| Bike and cargo bike | Poznan has over 200 km of dedicated bike lanes. The PRM (Poznanski Rower Miejski) public bike share does not allow dogs, but private cargo bikes and trailers are common. | ๐ก |
